This week has been really great.
I have worked out every night this week in some way.
Monday, I did Pilates at lunch time and then a run once I was home.
Tuesday, I took the puppy for a run with Mum.
Wednesday I walked around the markets, then to and from the car park to gaming and back.
Thursday, I went for another run and felt great afterwards.
Tonight I'm going.... ICE SKATING!!! Wooo.
The last time I did this was a few months ago, I tried out the "fake ice" rink near my place. It was empty, warm, muggy and horrible. I spent about 20 minutes on the "ice" and never once felt game to let go of the wall. No I know I haven'
t skated in a longish time, but my balance isn't that bad, in fact it's pretty good, and I can still roller blade, so I'm blaming the most uncomfortable skates know to man and the fake ice... Tonight I'm heading to the Icehouse, which is the dual rink ice skating arena in the city (where the Ice Hockey teams play) if I still can't skate then I will admit defeat :P I don't think that will be a problem though, and I'm looking hella forward to it. I'm tempted to see if next term they have any spots on the Ice Hokey "learn to play" team, that would be so much fun. I still remember how cool field hockey was to play, on ice it can only get better.
This week I was also lucky enough to get my Bodymedia FIT BW from my very lovely Sister in Canada. Thank you Andrea, you roxxor!
After some pottering around, and leaving it to charge over night I think I have most of the kinks sorted. except for the linking with my iPhone, this is doesn't do so well. In fact to date (I got it 4 days ago) I am yet to get it to sync. I'm waiting on an email back from the support team with any further ideas on what I can do to fix it (I hoped the firmware upgrade Wednesday night might be for the Blue tooth), and in the mean time I make sure to sync it up as soon as I get home so I know if I'm falling short I need to get out for a longer walk or run or hit the gym.
I will be very interested in seeing how my weight loss for this week goes, so far I'm posting a deficit every day, I should if the numbers and scale align lose at least .5 of a kg (about a pound).
The final news, I'm going for a hair cut tonight. Time to cut off the mane I've been growing for 10 years >< Not sure if this is a good idea considering I'm planning to get hitched in November and longer hair can be more easily styled, but then I can always get extensions right? Oh dear.
I shall post before and afters... Shall see how it goes...

Running

Without it I would not gave pushed myself as much.
Today, the bit of self love I had was the fact I had managed to run at a blistering 7km/h on the treadmill. Considering the fact I feared for my life and limbs thinking I would fly off the back going faster than 5km/hr this is amazing. I feel strong, I can do anything (well not run at 9 yet but it's coming)
<3 FebGTD and Robby for conceiving and running without the amazing idea. I may never have realized how much I can do Right Now without having to wait to be skinny.
